FLOW - Album Launch Concert (SA)

Inspired by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi’s concept of ‘flow’, SA attempts to break out of the conventional. Recorded & mixed by Victor Low over 3 days at the Black Axis, the album is fully improvised and focuses on mood, texture and concepts.

Without idiomatic commitment, SA uses their pre-existing knowledge of melody, harmony, rhythm and timbre to improvise at will, combining traditional & classical training with the curiosity to experiment, allowing for a spontaneous ebb and flow of activity in an intricate web of consciousness, connection, contact and correspondences.

Experimenting, and exploring; the need for overlaps, conflict and unpredictability, in search of an identity to reconcile our minds from the disorientation and confusion of this absurd universe.
