The Council presents Foreign Affairs
with DJ Krit Morton (MELA, Bangkok)
Friday, 16 June 2017
22.00H – late
A nod to the nuances of Asian nightlife, Foreign Affairs is a brand new party concept by The Council that shines the light on a growing crop of DJs and producers who call our borders home. From Bali to Bangkok and beyond, we look to a region replete with clashing cultures and roots deeply seated in tradition, scouring the dodgiest dwellings of our time for their finest proponents. Shaped to the sounds of crafty house cuts, thick, thumping techno and disco to dance for, Foreign Affairs is set to bring the best of Asia’s after hours right onto our dance floor.
For the fifth instalment in this series, we welcome Krit Morton, a Thai-English DJ who have been charming the crowds in Bangkok with his hypnotising blend of emotional, deep melodic house & techno.
A DJ who plays music to make you move your feet, but also to move your heart & soul, Krit Morton fell in love with dance music while living in Europe and has since spent the past few years honing his skills behind the decks.
A familiar name on the Bangkok scene, Krit Morton has also played at festivals such as Wonderfruit, Tempo Live, Tempology, Mystic Festival and many more. His DJ career to date has also seen him share the stage with the likes of Nico Stojan, Subb-an, Robag Wruhme, and DJ Tennis, just to name a few.
Join us as he takes us all on a journey through his deep, emotive house & techno sounds to keep us dancing all night.
First drink charge applies. $20 before 00:00H, $30 after 00:00H.
