Gabrielle Ferdinands live at Esplanade Concourse

Gabrielle is no stranger to the music industry, having performed together with her father, music icon Mel Ferdinands, on stages across Singapore. She has been singing since she was four years old and at the age of 22, was one of the top 24 finalists of Singapore Idol 2008. As a performer, Gabrielle has performed at Esplanade, Clarke Quay, Marina Barrage, Resorts World Sentosa, and Marina Bay Sands.

What can the audience expect from your performance?
I will be performing my favourite songs from the ’50s, and a couple of modern hits. If you're a fan of The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley and Etta James, you're definitely going to recognise more than a couple of songs! Join me for a rock 'n' roll weekend!

What was your favourite song growing up?
I used to love The Neverending Song of Love by the New Seekers. It was the first song I was able to sing at the age of four.

What are your favourite songs from the ’50s?
I love anything from The Platters, especially Only You, romantic ballads by Elvis, and any doo-wop songs, like Sh-Boom by The Chords. The Everly Brothers’ Devoted to You and a lot of their other hits are up there as well.
