Hui Xuan and Stan

The beauty of theatre and music is that it can be universal and personal at the same time. Join Hui Xuan as she shares some of her favourite stage and movie musical songs and her personal connections to each of them.
Hui Xuan is a professional actor, singer, dancer and choreographer. She holds a BA (first-class Honours) in Musical Theatre from LASALLE College of the Arts, where she is now a part-time lecturer and choreographer. She has performed in many musicals including Tropicana, Rent, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Great World Cabaret, Songs for A New World, La Cage aux Folles, Spring Awakening, Into the Woods, The Full Monty, Sweet Charity and Company.
Hui Xuan is accompanied by Serene Tan (Stan) on keys. Stan is the principal of My Piano Room and artistic director of fusion ethnic group Kulcha. She has worked on numerous theatre projects with W!ld R!ce, Cake Theatrical Productions, Singapore Repertory Theatre and ITheatre, and frequently perfoms at Esplanade.
