#HumansofSynergy

From a small group of passionate young dancers who formed the Jazz Ballet Group, NUS Dance Synergy has evolved into a contemporary dance group of confident dancers who are committed to honing their craft through fearless curiosity, disciplined practice and building a community through dance.

What allows a dance group to endure changes in the lives of its members through time as well as changes in the environment around it, and still maintain a sense of attachment among its generations of members?

The dancer becomes the focus of this unique celebration of contemporary dance in NUS and Singapore in works created by Albert Tiong, Yarra Ileto and alumni dancer, Lydia Lam. Marking its celebratory milestone this March at the newly unveiled University Cultural Centre, #HumansofSynergy brings together NUS Dance Synergy’s exceptional dancers, and demonstrates what has kept the group strong and committed over 40 years of dance-making, to inspire the next generation of dancers.
