Hush Now : Album Launch Series (Asia)

5 years in the making and finally we are together again to launch our project, Hush Now!! It is a collaboration of piano and voice, music and love and jazz ballads celebrating all facets of love.
We are so excited about coming together to perform again and especially to present a project which was born from late night home based jam sessions that led to a great friendship, lots of tequila, laughter, love, a tour in Mexico and finally an album!

Gabriel Hernandez is an extraordinary Cuban pianist and composer who studied in The conservatory of Camaguey and has been performing in jazz festivals and clubs for the last 30 years his own projects as a band leader as well as with the Afrocuban all stars and Cubanismo.
He has collaborated with artists such as Roy Hargrove, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval, Paquito de Rivera, Greg Fishman among many others.
He has recorded 5 original music albums to date and has collaborated in many jazz albums internationally.
With his solid classical training, Chucho Valdez asserts that he is “A pianist that makes a difference putting his heart on top of his technique,” and Herbie Hancock claims that " Gabriel is the best unknown that I've heard. "
Based in Mexico, for more than 20 years Gabriel has continued his traveling and exploration of playing with musicians who are magical, open and creative.
