Idiotape Live in Singapore

Idiotape’s dynamic, synth-driven rhythms and electrifying performances have taken over Seoul. And now, the award-winning electronic band is prepping for global domination.

Influenced by Korean classic rock from the ’60s and ’70s, the trio consists of synthesizer players Zeze and Dguru, a producer and renowned DJ, and drummer DR. Idiotape released their debut EP 0805 in 2010, and went on to garner rave reviews for their performances at SXSW and Canadian Music Week. In 2011, they released their debut full-length 11111101, which won Best Dance & Electronic Album at the Korean Music Awards in 2012.

Since then, the trio has opened for Phoenix in Seoul, rocked SXSW a second time, and embarked on a European tour that saw them performing at festivals such as Glastonbury, Exit Festival and Trans Musicales. Now, Idiotape comes to Singapore fresh on the heels of their latest album release of RE.
