Growing up in Queens\, New York\, the Taiwanese-American Miss Ko was exposed to hip hop music and culture at a very young age. Miss Ko released her critically acclaimed debut album \;Knock Out \;in 2012\, taking the Taiwanese public by storm\, and in the same year won Best New Artist at the Golden Melody Awards\, considered to be the Grammys of Taiwan.

K nown for her ability to rap fluently in English and Mandarin\, she has perf ormed at music festivals such as the CMJ Music Marathon\, Glastonbury and a t SXSW\, and has collaborated with music bigwigs such as MC HotDog\, Khalil Fong and A-Mei. She recently released her latest album \;Queen of Queens \;in 2016\, and became the first-ever hip hop artist to be nominated for Best Female Artist at the Golden Melody Awards the following year.
