Fresh back from Alcheringa in Guwahati Assam, India, they have been 'upping' their game, travelling around the world to play on festivals these last couple of months. Tropic Green is a 7 piece (sometimes 8 piece) jazz band formed to play original compositions by Susan Harmer. The band consists of 4 horns, and 3/4 piece rhythm section. The group was formed in 2010 to play only original compositions by Susan Harmer. The band has played at the main jazz venues in Singapore - Southbridge Jazz@7atenine, BluJaz Cafe, Outdoor Theatre Esplanade. Tropic Green participated in the Samui International Jazz Festival in 2011.
