Jazz in July: Octaves
With an ear out for the traditions of the legendary jazz greats and another for eclectic modern soundscapes, Octaves takes on a range of tunes from Tin Pan Alley favourites to modern jazz workouts.
The ensemble grew out of the Mosaic Jazz Fellows programme in 2015 under the mentorship of distinguished Singapore musicians Chok Kerong, Joshua Wan and Tony Makarome.
