Bass music collective BAOWBAOW is back to kick off the new year with a series of monthly regular nights! Together with events & talent agency Collective Minds, this time they bring dubstep stalwart and veteran DJ Joe Nice for a night of beastly sub-bass and beats.
Collective Minds is a collaborative events & talent agency working with culture-pushers across diverse disciplines sharing the aim of gathering communities through mutual interests.
BAOWBAOW was first founded in July 2017 with the intent of creating more bass-focused parties in the spectrum of genres such as Grime, UK Garage, Jungle, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Footwork, Juke, Dubstep, Dancehall, Ballroom Vogue etc., and bringing in underground artistes they truly respect and admire to our shores.
Though a fledgling in the bass music scene in Singapore, BAOWBAOW’s passion lies in their thirst to build a movement in collaboration with many other local musicians and similarly passionate agencies in the scene. Their efforts saw them hosting acts such as EZ Riser with Oceantied representing India's famous bass collective, KRUNK, at their launch, and supporting Nightslug's Kingdom and Chicago footwork legend RP BOO. 2018 looks bright with many amazing acts in line, so keep your ears peeled.

Joe Nice is known the world over not just as one of the most genuine artists in the scene, but also one of the most talented and dubplate filled DJs on the circuit. Representing Baltimore, Joe Nice is universally recognized as the ambassador of the dubstep sound in North America and has been instrumental in the growth and success of dubstep for nearly a decade. His monthly radio show on Gourmet Beats has more than a decade of shows played on the site, which then transitioned to SubFM and is going strong till this day.
Since 2001, Joe Nice has performed and toured extensively across the globe and his worldwide fan base continues to grow with his enthusiastic live performance and stage presence, upfront selection and skillful mixing.
