Keith VVOLF + Machine

Keith’s first memory of music’s effect on him was when he was 10 years old sitting in his grand-aunt’s car and hearing The Beatles’ Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band for the first time. Enchanted by riffs and flowing song melodies, an addiction began where he sought out different genre’s of music and encountered different artists like Eric Clapton, SRV, Slash, The Beach Boys, John Mayer, and many others. Soon however, singing other’s songs wasn’t enough for him and the tunes he always hummed to himself and pictured in his mind could not be contained. Looking to find his own voice in music, Keith picked up the guitar in 2009, and hasn’t put it down since. By the end of 2014, Keith had started to play acoustic versions of his original material at various public platforms such as OOOM and The Diarist Sessions, with his set at Hood Bar's Saturday Original Sessions being picked out by The Straits Times as a Gig Pick of the Week. In 2015, Keith formed the band Wolf Machine, an eclectic mix of outstanding musicians, consisting of Christopher Isaac Boey(also from Ashdown) on guitar, Sheer Anguilla providing the drumming backbone of the band, Yun Hong Jun (affectionately known as the Groovelord) on the bass and Keith leading on guitar and vocals. Fresh off from shows at NUSS, SingJazz Club's Spider Sessions and also Destination:INK's Third Anniversary Party at Blu Jaz Cafe, Keith Soo-Tho now takes you on a journey of love, life, and everything in between, through the blues, pop, and even a bit of soul.

On the evening of the 26th of February, Keith teams up with Machine to bring to you an electrifying gig that he advises little kids to wear hearing protection for.
