Baby Johann is an 11 month old boy diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a rare life threatening liver disease. His common bile duct is either blocked or absent, making the bile impossible to pass through. Bile would soon accumulate in his liver, causing Liver Cirrhosis. He needs to undergo a Liver Transplant Operation that has an estimated cost of 4-5 Million pesos in order to survive. Without surgery, babies with Biliary Atresia are not likely to live beyond age two.
All ever baby Johann wanted for his first birthday is a new liver. Let us all help him get one. :)
