The Lorong Boys burst onto the Singapore music scene when their spontaneous performance on an MRT train went viral on social media. Since then, their energy, spontaneity and love for sharing music have brought them on many adventures in Singapore and overseas. Performing on violins, flute, piano and percussion, this talented quintet brings you classical, Broadway and Top 40 pop music.
The Lorong Boys are five award-winning Singapore musicians who are equally comfortable playing on the hallowed stage of a concert hall as they are on the streets in the heartland. Consisting of Rit Xu (flute), Jonathan Shin (piano), Gabriel Lee (violin) and David Loke (violin) and Joachim Lim (percussion), this quintet was born out of deep friendship and a shared love for music. The five ex-schoolmates at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music have gone on performance tours in Indonesia, and have been featured on almost every channel on TV.
