Lowercase Sessions is a gig series featuring artists who take up residency at Lowercase. Be accompanied on Thursday nights with music slightly different from top 40s or the mainstream. An artist armed with a unique sense of poetry in his songwriting, Franco-Mauritian singer-songwriter Jonathan Meur is known for his mellow folk-pop that pushes a wide range of emotive buttons, from the whimsical to the melancholic to the hopeful. An inventive songwriter that comes with comparisons of Keane, Ed Harcourt, Sufjan Stevens. He features at Lowercase for a short seven sessions, 8-9pm. Catch him over a drink or meal at Lowercase as he performs his own tunes, showcases some new songs in the works, and his favourite covers. Admission is free!
