The man in the red mask returns to Singapore shores. Impressing on many for his live + DJ set for Midnight Shift’s 3rd year anniversary in 2012, Redshape is back in the new year with another album ‘Redpack II’ as well as releases on Delsin and Present to his name.
One of the most exciting new names in techno over the last few years, Redshape has united music fans old and new with his timeless, rugged brand of Detroit-style electronics with a leaning towards cinematic aesthetics. His lively performance style and technical prowess elevate him well above the sea of producers/DJs even without revealing his true identity.
The man of mystery will be joined beforehand by Midnight Shift artist, Eddie Niguel, who since his ‘Absolute’ crossover hit that has taken festivals by storm, has proceeded to release on labels such as Spagat and Danny Howell’s Dig Deeper. His melodic techno hybrid set is truly unique on the island.
Norman Chung, kyō’s resident will too be up to bat. The DJ and producer has been released on labels such as Logos, Sino, Hypnotic Room and Crayon and after numerous club stints, helms down Saturdays at kyō with his brand of techno which is at times deep, other times driving but always on point.
On visuals will be the double vision of Burrows vs Avneesh, who pair up to ride the night with us.
