Sore is a Jakarta-based indie quartet whose musical eclecticism is a curious blend of traditional pop songwriting and musical mood explorations. Imagine if The Beatles grew up in the Pacific listening to the music of Steely Dan, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Morrissey, Charles Mingus, Frank Zappa, and The Lounge Lizards.

The critically acclaimed Hong Kong-based indie folk rock band Noughts & Exes features an international line-up of musicians creating a mishmash of distinct instrumentation. The sextet's album The Start of Us was one of Time Out Hong Kong's best Chinese indie albums of 2010.
