Founded by pianist Alina Ramirez and her bassist husband Mario Lopez, Ireson performs an amalgamation of Afro Latin rhythms, bomba, samba, bossa nova, and Mexican and Cuban folkloric music. These performances showcase a more acoustic and gentler musical side of the group, which includes Carlos Sendros as guitarist and vocalist, as well as other special guests.
