Nick Zavior

Modern-day soul man Nick Zavior, along with the grooviest bass player in town Miqael Das and multi-talented guitar maestro Izhar Eia, brings you an intimate New Year’s Eve with an exciting array of soul, RnB and funk. Let the dynamic trio serenade you into 2017 with all the love and joy they can offer.

Nick Zavior is a professional singer, songwriter and arranger. He is the 2016 McNally award-winner for excellence in the arts. Heavily influenced by rhythm and blues, Nick began to explore its traditions, leading him to develop the stylistic traits of funk, soul and gospel music. He was the highlight act at 2016 Aliwal Urban Arts Festival and The 2014 REBEL Fighting Championships, among others, and currently performs with his band Inner City at La Salsa (Dempsey Hill) and FIVE Tapas Bar (Cuppage Terrace) while freelancing at different local venues. Nick is also the lead vocalist of the renowned 12-member funk and soul tribute band What Is Hip. He is currently recording his own original music, and hopes to promote positivity as well as touch lives locally and abroad.
