NO MAN'S LAND by Inch Chua

TheatreWorks commissions singer-songwriter Inch Chua’s next creative work.

Destination: Antarctica. This land has never known war, it belongs to no nation, and is home to no tribe or indigenous human race. Antarctica is owned by no one and all of us at the same time.

Amongst one of 80 individuals per year in the world to gain access, Inch recently travelled to the seventh continent of the world, as a part of 2041’s International Antarctic ClimateForce Expedition led by veteran world explorer, Robert Swan, and his son Barney Swan.

After that adventure, Inch returns home with a suitcase full of stories. She unpacks her suitcase and deconstructs her experience.

TheatreWorks continues its commitment to creative partnerships and journeys with Inch in the creation of an artistic work responding to questions which arose from experiencing Antarctica. No Man’s Land is a concert which shares Inch’s findings through original songs and stories, and gives an inside look at her creative process with the development of her work.

This May, we open the window with Inch and peer out at No Man’s Land.
