One World Café: Los Cucurrus

This weekend presents music from around the world, from South American and Latin-Cuban rhumba, mambo and flamenco to new urban syncopated rhythms incorporating dub, reggae and electronic music. Artist collectives Wobology and Mantravine, comprising local and locally-based musicians such as Richard Meade; Rupak George; Eriko Murakami and Deborah Emmanuel, together with the band Los Cucurrus, will entertain and share with you the one love that brings their worlds together: music. Los Cucurrus is a band that plays a diverse range of Latin American and Spanish music. This time, they will be covering music from Brazil, exploring the musical traditions of flamenco, Latin America as well as sharing some original compositions. Set Timings: 7.30 – 8.15pm 8.45 – 9.30pm
