This weekend presents music from around the world, from South American and Latin-Cuban rhumba, mambo and flamenco to new urban syncopated rhythms incorporating dub, reggae and electronic music. Artist collectives Wobology and Mantravine, comprising local and locally-based musicians such as Richard Meade; Rupak George; Eriko Murakami and Deborah Emmanuel, together with the band Los Cucurrus, will entertain and share with you the one love that brings their worlds together: music.
Mantravine specialises in making world chillout music for restaurants, festivals, performances, theatre, dance, video, television, radio and more. The group constantly seeks to expand the artistic realm by combining music with different artistic mediums like video art, acro yoga, dancer, visual arts and live performances to make transformative and inspiring art.
