What does the movie of a Female Rapper trying to make it in an unforgiving world have to do with Singapore? Join us for a celebration of female emcees, DJs, dancers, beatboxers and graffiti artists, with a spotlight on Singaporean Hiphop Queens that have pioneered the way for the culture here in the Lion City.

Curated by Femmecee MAS1A, hosted by E R I and joined by DJs Rah (Darker than Wax) and A/K/A (Attagirl), discover the perspective of the 1st ladies of Hiphop from the early 90s until present day. If you are a female Hiphop aficionado, come early to participate in a “family portrait” that will be taken to document Singapore’s HERstory (history).

Live performances, dance ciphers and a photo exhibit out of SG’s Hiphop archives will bring you back to the days of emcees free styling at the steps of Far East Plaza.

Join us for the after party with songs curated from the Golden Era of Hiphop. An artisan market of independent female designers will be set up to share unique products from Singapore’s female creatives.

Don’t forget Wednesday is Ladies night, and drink & food specials from Intermission Bar at The Projector will make this the perfect Hiphop Movie Date.
