President's Young Performers Concert: Kevin Loh

The young but already international award-winning Singaporean guitarist Kevin Loh was talent-scouted by The Yehudi Menuhin School via his YouTube Channel when he was only 12 and subsequently awarded a grant by The Rolling Stones to study at the prestigious music school.

Since then, his extraordinary musicality has won him numerous international accolades and invitations to perform around the world. The President's Young Performers Concert 2019 is pleased to present Kevin Loh in the guitar favourite, Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez.

Born and raised in Singapore, Kevin Loh is a recipient of the 2010 HSBC Youth Excellence Award for Musical Excellence and the 2018 Goh Soon Tioe Centenary Award.

Kevin actively represents Singapore and has won many first prizes from many of the world’s prestigious classical guitar competitions, like the Guitar Foundation of America International Youth Competition and the International Competition for Young Guitarists “Andres Segovia”. In 2017, he won First Prize in the Open Category at the 34th Volos International Guitar Festival and Competition in Greece.
