Back in the day, we remember waiting all week to watch our favorite bands kill it at local gigs over the weekend. They'd play anywhere and everywhere - Substation (indoors AND outdoors), Blackhole212, Youth Park, Parklane, Planet Paradigm, Singapore American School, Community Centres, Prince of Wales, Home Club. These gigs were kinda like mini-festivals, they'd last the whole day (just in time for the last bus home), and everyone'd leave with their eardrums ringing and their faces smiling (and sometimes, if you were lucky, you'd manage to get some signed merch from your favorite band).
Macam we damn old like that.
We love our local bands, the ones that do-it-themselves and the ones that are still doing-it-themselves, and all the people who come to the shows moshing//singing//two stepping//skanking//pogoing//headbanging.
Our humble little band tiptoes on the shoulders of much bigger giants, and we're very grateful and incredibly stoked to have an amazing line-up of musicians whom we know and love.
Come one, Come all to PUNKADELIA.
P.S.Houston, there will be merch!
