ROMS (Reflections on Music and Sound) 
Workshop / Live Beatmaker Cypher / Ableton Link Improv Orchestra

ROMS (reflections on music and sound) is a series of free talks and workshops that focus on the exploration and exchange of ideas, principles, philosophies, strategies and experiences among some of the Philippines’ most forward-thinking music creators and curators.

The aim is to cultivate a deeper understanding of the relationship between music and sound as an art. It also exists to unearth and foster a more substantial and refined approach to expression/appreciation/management in the realm of sound.

This iteration of ROMS also aims to bring about creative exchanges beyond its usual workshop format by introducing a live beat maker cypher challenge hosted by BuwanBuwan Collective's online beat cypher and monthly beat invitational event called BuwanBuwan's Bakunawa where each participant will be drawing from a huge list of random creative prompts/restrictions/rules and will be tasked to go against other participants in a timed beat making cypher.

To end the night there will be a one night only performance of an Ableton Link Improv Laptop Orchestra lead by Similarobjects.
