Singapore Horn Sounds: Debut!

What started as a hobby which then became a gathering of friends has now grown into a regular ensemble with its sole purpose of bringing music for Horn closer to everyone. The horn has long been an instrument most commonly associated with hunting but it found prestige in the concert halls of europe as early as the 1700s. Moving from a common orchestral instrument to a chamber instrument, the horn now most recently has explored repertory as a large independent ensemble. Bringing together some of the finest young horn players in Singapore, we at the Singapore Horn Sounds have undertaken the challenge to learn, explore and unearth repertoire for multiple horns ranging from quartets to as much 16 players.
