Sonido Singapura is back in town at the KultKafe, outdoors on the green fields of Emily Hill.
Enjoy Sunday afternoon with some chill-out vibes: kicking off with some chill ska/reggae tunes, then changing up with some cumbia/mambo/agogo alla sonidero style beats.
On this occasion we are proud to feature a set from Tokyo’s DJ Shhhhh: exploring the psychedelic depths of Latin music, and blending music from the Basque Country, Musica frontera Argentina (Argentinian electro-acoustic music), with South American birdsong recorded live in the wild! He will use his DeepHouse/MinimalTechno mixing skills to generate magical freestyle dance grooves out of folklore music, capturing you in his mesmerising soundscape - “El Folclore Paradox”.

**DJ Shhhhh (JP / SUNHOUSE)**
Born in Tokyo, his music delves into and uncovers alternative world music and traditional beats. His DJ style blends ethnic with left-field electro – using his extraordinary mixing talent to create a mesmerizing, magical freestyle beat. He has compiled Argentinian music compilation album "Unicolismo", as well as two other by selecting Argentinian music from a DJ point of view. In March 2013, he released his official mix CD, "EL FOLKLORE PARADOX" on Tearbridge Productions, part of Japan's biggest dance music label, "Avex Trax”.
He frequently features on internet streaming stations, DOMMUNE (based in Japan), dublab.jp (based in Tokyo) and dublab.com (based in Los Angles). His ambient mix, "funeral gaucho", released on dublab.com has received worldwide acclaim. He has featured on a variety of mix CDs from influential Japanese underground music labels, such as "PROCEPTION", "EL QUANGO", and "BLACK SMOKER RECORDS"
