SSO IN YOUR COMMUNITY: NORTHEAST SINGAPORE

From July 11 to 13, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra performs a series of free 60-minute concerts, with Associate Conductor Joshua Tan. On July 11, spice up your lunch hour with our colourful programme of famous Russian classics at the Victoria Concert Hall, presented as part of the SPH Gift of Music Series. Highlights include excerpts from Mussorgsky's spectacular Pictures at an Exhibition, the exciting finale of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto featuring Singaporean violinist Loh Jun Hong, and the Flight of the Bumble-Bee. The SSO plays the same programme at Victoria Junior College and Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School on the evenings of July 12 and 13, respectively.
