Steven Schick, the legendary percussionist-turned-conductor performs with OpusNovus! He will perform solo percussion works such as Xenakis’ exhilarating Rebonds,in which audience members get to participate in creating the sound world. Schick will also play alongside Conservatory students in Berio’s dance-inspired Linea. He will lead the ensemble in premiering a student work and Birtwistle’s Secret Theatre, described by the composer as 'instrumental theatre'.
