Stopgap, an indie-rock band from Singapore will debut their first long play (LP) album titled “Totems” at SCAPE* Ground Theatre on Friday, 4th December.
The launch event will feature bad puns, visual installations, and guest performances by fellow musicians .gif and wyd:syd. Admission for the event will be on a pay-as-you-wish basis.
“Totems” features original tracks such as: sold-out hit single “Crossing Swords”, which receives frequent airplay on local radio stations; "Run-Out", a song inspired by the boys’ own encounter with national conscription; and more.
The quintet opted to record and produce the album by themselves, with the help of music veteran Saiful Idris of the now-defunct Great Spy Experiment.
The album will be on sale at the launch for S$18. You can also pre-order the album online for an early bird offer of S$15. For more information, visit facebook.com/stopgapband for the latest updates.
