Studio Session: YUGA II

After the first successful show in the first installment of SA Studio Sessions - Yuga, which featured Andy Chia, Andy Yang, and Akileshwar Vm, with Aqilah on Visuals, do come join us on 14th June for SA Studio Sessions - Yuga II.

As part of a process-based work over the span of February – October moving towards our “ETHNI-CITY” Series, the second installment of SA Studio Sessions - Yuga series features Natalie Alexandra (GuZheng and Electronics), Govin Tan (Ethnic Percussion), Sai Vignesh (Carnatic vocals) and visuals by Aqilah Misuary.

ETHNI-CITY is an ongoing series by SAtheCollective. This year sees the 3rd edition of the series. 

ETHNI-CITY III, to be held on 19th October 2018, will revolve around the concept of the Kali Yuga which is also known as the “age of vice” according to the Sanskrit scripture and the Mahabharata. 

The intention for the work is to bring awareness of the growing distance between human and nature, human and God(s). The work also hopes to bring some awareness to the corrupting powers which are dictating the lives of the people and that through an awareness of oneself and people as well as surrounding, love, and positive energy, we will be able to make the world a better place.
