Spend a lovely afternoon with the Toa Payoh West Community Club Chinese Orchestra as they present a repertoire of American music including Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story Overture, George Gershwin’s I've Got Rhythm, a jazz take on the Cantonese classic 《旱天雷》, and many more!
Established in 2001, the orchestra serves as a platform for young musicians to develop their talents and to explore their passion for music. Led by its founding music director Zhang Yu Ming, the orchestra has won many significant accolades in the National Chinese Music Competition organised by the National Arts Council.
