The Blues Express is a four piece band made up of four seasoned musicians who have all been performing professionally in various well-known bands in Singapore over the last 15 to 20 years, and have performed in well-known clubs and pubs, country clubs, hotels, concerts and shows in Singapore and regionally here in Asia.

The music the band performs appeals to everyone who enjoys lively upbeat groove music, and the band's audiences include the pub going crowd, the local audience, Caucasians, foreigners, expats here, tourists and generally anyone who enjoys good rocking music with good rhythm and groove. The band plays upbeat groove music and generally music which is great music and familiar to audiences everywhere.

Our Primary Music Genre which we perform is upbeat Blues and includes music by popular Blues artistes like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Junior Wells, Eric Clapton, John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers, Gary Moore, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top, J.J. Cale,The Doors, Canned Heat, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Rolling Stones and others.

Our set list also includes some Jazz standards on occasion and also self penned original compositions by drummer and lead vocalist, John Silva.

The Blues Express performs regularly at popular clubs and pubs which include Artistry Cafe, HooHa Cafe And Bar, and The Prince Of Wales Boat Quay.
