The Caulfield Cult album release show

"The unappreciated musician's favourite band is back with a new album. "CULT" breaks zero new ground when it comes to music or lyrics. It's all been said and done before, but it's still a pretty good record, above average at the least. Critics have been heard saying that "CULT" is a sure contender for the "honourable mentions" section of unknown asian websites' "best of 2016" articles written by unknown journalists. As the band goes through their no-longer-21 phase, expect parts in the record that make you go "woah" and parts that make you go "eh?". Honest and humbling, The Caulfield Cult is back with diminishing efforts to live up to their 2015 hype. "When we did audiotree and played baybeats, we were overwhelmed with the hype and reception on social media with zero promotional effort on our part. So we were like oh yes, this is our time, we're going to make new music. Turns out people only care about the glamourous things in music that are not music. I hope we don't lose too much money..." said the band's frontman Nicholas Wong. " - The Caulfield Cult frontman, Nicholas Wong 16th april 2016 substation 7pm $10
