The successes of many musical acts in recent years have spurred many bedroom musicians to come out of hiding to showcase their music to more people. More performers means more platforms needed and that is what Wizard Productions is trying to achieve. Wizard Productions aims to create and provide more platforms for Artists to showcase their music and reach a larger amount of audiences while being remunerated for their work at the same time.
With the previous successes of events by Wizard Productions like ‘Punked Out 1’ and ‘Punked Out 2’, Wizard Productions have moved on to start a new series of gigs named “The Lunchtime Jukebox” where artists will showcase their original work entertaining lunch time crowds at various places. The very first show will be held on 24th Oct 2015 at Afterwit Café, 12pm.
First up we have the HubbaBubbas. They started out as Noise Singapore mentees and have now risen to one of Singapore's top acts who are currently producing their long awaited EP!
Next we have Debbi Koh, a finalist from the TV singing competition The Final One! After the competition, Debbi has moved on and started to work on more original music and have even been on 987fm’s 987 Home to share her new song “She + You”!
Last but not least, we have a rising band Suasion. Suasion is an international quartet with acoustic roots that emerged on the Singapore music scene in 2013. Michael, Chris, Lyndsey and Alvin make up Suasion's captivating sound; referred to as country-folk inflected melodic pop-rock by Singapore music critic Kevin Mathews.
