The New Modern Lights are a four-piece indie rock band based in Singapore that was formed in 2015. It consists of Darius Oon (guitar, vocals), Ethan Lew (guitar), Bruce Tan (drums, percussion) and Adriel Ong (bass). 
Inspired by various musical groups such as The Pixies, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and countless others, The New Modern Lights sound is a mixture of Britpop, Indie Rock, Grunge and Alternative music.
In 2016, The New Modern Lights have played the local open mic circuit in Singapore, including venues such as The Barber Shop by Timbre, Hood Bar and Cafe and Hard Rock Cafe. In addition, they have also released 2 EPs, By My Side EP and Ambiguities EP.
