The Shuffle #2 brings together 2 crazy boys who, when I first started going out, played at 2 venues that I tried very hard to get into.
One used to hold down the floor at a venue that had a +23 age limit. After getting tired of the main room, all I could hear was “Man… you gotta get in there and catch Brendon P.” On my 23rd birthday, I joined the queue to the Underground and never really left. Brendon P had a lot to do with it.
The second dude built up a serious following at 2 venues. The first is one of Singapore’s most popular rooftop bars. Another is a secret hole tucked away in Dempsey. Whether solo or with Staash, DJ KFC always pushes it fun, funky and soulful. Plus I heard he has a mean shuffle when there’s talcum on the floor.
I was worried to put them together because there are 2 things they like to do while DJ-ing; Sake and talking cock. But they’ve promised to be on their worst behavior so I proudly present to you the lineup for The Shuffle #2….
