DESCRIPTION:TOE (toe.st)\nFollowing two sold-out shows in 2012\, these Japa
 nese titans of post-rock\, instrumental rock and math-rock are back to mesm
 erise us with their unique style of music.\n\nThe vast majority of the musi
 c is instrumental in nature and is also known for its melodic\, clean guita
 r settings. Additionally\, the compositions have repetition from typical ro
 ck motifs\, but use very subtle changes in beat and rhythm to form a unique
  sound. The band has changed their sound over their musical tenure by incor
 porating acoustic guitars\, Rhodes piano\, and vibraphones in their most re
 cent releases.\n\nToe is composed of Kashikura Takashi on drums\, Mino Taka
 aki on guitar\, Yamane Satoshi on bass guitar\, andYamazaki Hirokazu on gui
 tar. Toe has formally played with this line-up since the band’s inception i
 n 2000. They are currently one of four bands on the indie label Machu Picch
 u\, along with the bands mouse on the keys\, Enemies and Tangled Hair.
