TROPICLAB HOUSE NIGHT SPECIAL

RSVP for complimentary entry before 11.30pm: https://rsvpd.co/g/kyo15_julywk3 Once again, all the TropicLab boys will be back in Lion City, ready to descend upon the Basement to give you the third instalment in their Kyo series. This time the trio will be bringing to the floor a more house flavoured vibe with freshly created and curated tracks lovingly fused with their trademark rhythmic tech sound. Join Jamie React, Haan and Dhakka as they bounce you along on their melodic and funky, bass fuelled journey via 3 decks and a TR-8 drum machine. Tropic Lab, a DJ and producer collective made up of the tirelessly passionate and prolific Jamie React, Dhakka and Haan was formed in 2013 for the love of house, techno and electronic music. Rapidly blazing through Singapore’s burgeoning music scene, the trio have forged their own sounds and secured gigs at the city’s best underground music hotspots. A long way from his home country of Scotland, UK, James Riach has been drawing on his years of listening to and mixing different styles of house, ultimately possessing a huge bag of different sounds to play with. In his techno guise Jamie React chisels out harder groove-based tech house and techno, often infused with tribal percussions and vocal samples that rumble the dancefloor. Successful tracks released on Turning Wheel Records and Tech Factory Records make this DJ/producer a force to be reckoned with. https://soundcloud.com/jamiereact A self-taught DJ, Haan is known for his quirky, funk sets that constantly evolve to a progressively groove-laden take on house and techno. He continues to push the boundaries, evident in his gigs abroad at Sankeys (Manchester, UK), Sophbeck and Dielectric (Leicester, UK) and closer to home, at the underground techno institution Kyo and most recently at Super 0, Singapore’s pop-up boutique festival that pays homage to local and international music acts. https://soundcloud.com/rhotd DJ/Producer hailing from France Thomas Lubrano aka Dhakka draws inspiration from French house and minimal techno. Influenced by the sounds of Laurent Garnier, Extrawelt and Ricardo Villalobos, it has led him to develop his unique style of minimal techno and deep house. Lubrano splits his time between Europe and Asia. https://soundcloud.com/dhakkaofficialpage Public Admission $20 for ladies, $25 for men (incl. 1 drink) Book a table: reservations@clubkyo.com +65 8299 8735
