Ultimate 70's Jukebox with Vannessa Barker

Singapore singer Vannessa Barker, who is of British-Indian descent, saw her singing career kick off at age 18, when her group The Flutterbies (which included Singapore Idol alumnus and MediaCorp personality Mathilda D’Silva) clinched the top prize in the Group Category of local talent competition The Big Break, organised by now-defunct broadcasting channel TV Works in 2000. She went on to perform gigs with R&B outfit Bonafide, which comprised Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah and home-grown rapper Mark Bonafide. These included appearances at hip-hop festivals and on MTV Asia. Most recently, Vannessa and her musical partner Amery Harith Reuben were named the winners of the Group Category of Budweiser’s Made For Music 2015 competition. Vannessa performs at venues such Esplanade, Hard Rock Café Singapore, The Beast, Muddy Murphy's Irish Pub, Prince of Wales and Hero’s.

Singing all your favourite hits from the ’70s, Vannessa Barker will take you on a musical journey back in time. She will get you singing along to familiar songs from artists such as Roberta Flak, Bee Gees and many more.
