Yes Yes Yes!

The “Gasthaus Mnozil” is in the famous 1st “Bezirk” (quarter) of the City of Vienna directly opposite the Music Conservatoire. Fate played a role and in 1992, seven young brass musicians were lucky enough to be able to take part in the regular music series held in the restaurant under the auspices of Josef Mnozil himself. Their music appealed to all ages and included hit tunes, jazz, pop, opera and operetta. Played without a sense of fear, reprisals for anything and totally out of place, the music is played with an open mind the typical Viennese “Schmäh” (best rendered as a kind of sarcastic charm), along with immense technical skills.

Since 2000, Mnozil Brass has produced a new stage show almost every year and has performed about 130 annual concerts all over the world. From the farthest reaches of the European continent to Israel, Russia, China, Taiwan, Japan, Canada, the US, Australia and now for the very first time in Singapore! They have played to full house audiences at the famous Burgtheater in Vienna, KKL in Lucerne, Royal Albert Hall in London, the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum, opera houses in Munich, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden and Leipzig, Thalia Theater in Hamburg, Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and at the Berliner Ensemble.

“YES YES YES!”

Even after 24 years of brass music as we love it (and they live it), Mnozil Brass demonstrates their new show YES, YES, YES with an unbroken optimism. They journey on unerringly and effortlessly, by blowing their way through paradise Slapstick-meets-black-humor.

YES, YES, YES, the new concert programme by this unique septet is a performance of a very special kind. A plethora of cover versions and stunning choreography combine to make this an unforgettable evening. Their improvisatory talent and simply amazing communication on stage will leave audiences gasping for breath and entertained as they leave the theatre.

This programme, YES, YES, YES, is the ultimate new show from the Mnozil Brass quoted as “the best, most spontaneous and humorous of all times.” one which will ensure that the world’s most renowned concert halls be sold out well in advance.

YES, YES, YES!

Because one Yes is not enough!
