Seven reasons you should attend ZoukOut 2018

Festival season is upon us and what better way to kick December off than with Singapore's premiere beach dance party?

ZoukOut is set to return for its 18th edition this December and this year, the festival will be shaking things up. This year, ZoukOut will be taking place a week earlier than usual, on 1 December, making the festival a one-day extravaganza. But don't let the singular date fool you, the festival line-up gathers some of the biggest names in the dance music.

Below, check out seven reasons why you should attend ZoukOut 2018.

It's A Single-Day Event

BANDWAGON TV

With the norm of festivals lasting two days or longer, festival-goers usually find themselves being burnt out from all the partying. With a single-day event, attendees will get to spend the rest of their weekend resting and preparing themselves for the coming week. This means you can get all your partying done in one single stretch and rest after without feeling any regret.

Galantis and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Make Their Singapore Debuts

Yes, you read that right. After over a decade of wreaking havoc all over the world with massive hits such as 'Mammoth' and 'Crowd Control', critically acclaimed duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (DVLM) will finally be performing in Singapore for the first time ever. But that's not all. Swedish EDM duo Galantis will also be making its debut in Singapore after six years of touring the world with hits like 'Runaway (U & I)'. With the gents making their highly-anticipated and long-awaited debuts, their respective sets at ZoukOut 2018 are shaping up to be some of the biggest EDM performances Singapore has ever seen. Trust us when we say you don't want to miss it.

Returning Legends

Apart from the debut of DVLM, ZoukOut 2018 will see a handful of dance music legends returning to Singapore. Returning performers include KSHMR, W&W, Timmy Trumpet and Jeffrey Sutorius of Dash Berlin fame. With an incredibly strong line-up like that, all in one day, you'll more than get your EDM cravings satisfied.

Diverse Line-Up

Featuring the likes of DVLM, Jeffrey Sutorius, KSHMR and more, ZoukOut 2018's line-up features a wide variety of EDM sub-genres such as big room, trance, progressive house, hardstyle, psytrance, Melbourne bounce and more. Check out a curated playlists of hits you can expect to hear at the festival below.

World-class Production

This year, ZoukOut will be taking its stage design to the next level as it ropes in production powerhouse Unlimited Productions to design its new stage for 2018. Having previously worked with Tomorrowland, Daydream Festival and more, Unlimited Productions will be designing ZoukOut's mainstage to bring the festival's grandeur and theme of Interplanetary Voyage to life. Spanning over 36 meters wide and 20 meters tall, the stage will draw inspiration from the "mothership" design in Zouk's Main Room. Expect an amazing stage design with top-notch fireworks, lazers and more.

Relive The Classics

With the return of acts such as KSHMR, W&W, Galantis and Jeffrey Sutorius as well as the debut of DVLM, ZoukOut 2018 will be transporting festival-goers back to the golden age of EDM, when hits like 'Mammoth' and 'Runaway (U & I)'  reigned supreme. From the big room goodness of DVLM to the trance highs of Jeffrey Sutorius, ZoukOut's line-up is set to take attendees on a journey unlike any other in the region.

Gastronomic Gold Mine

Apart from the festivities at ZoukOut, this year's edition will see the inclusion of its best Food Village yet. With signature Sangers from Burnt Ends, mouth-watering meats from Meat Smith, Patata Bravas from FOC Sentosa and Vietnamese street classics from Nam Nam, ZoukOut 2018 will cater to a wide spectrum of tastes and palettes at the festival. ZoukOut will also be presenting a boutique dining experience with celebrated restaurants, Burnt Ends and FOC Sentosa, exclusive for VIP festival-goers. This is sure a sign as any that ZoukOut is a feast for all the senses.
