K-pop's biggest awards show will be back this year with a brand new name.

Here's how to watch the 2022 MAMA Awards

The MAMA Awards, which was formerly known as the Mnet Asian Music Awards, returns this November with an in-person ceremony in Osaka, Japan. According to a report by Billboard, the annual awards show honouring the best in K-pop and music across Asia will be taking place at the Kyocera Dome Osaka on 29 and 30 November.

In a press statement, CJ ENM, the entertainment company behind the awards show shares that "the rebrand carries the award show's ambition to expand from its existing presence in Asia to encompass global K-pop fans, positioning itself as the world's No. 1 K-pop awards."

Tickets to the awards show are now available for JPY 40,000 (2-day pass) and JPY 22,000 (1-day pass). Get tickets here.
