Park Bom has made explosive claims against fellow 2NE1 member Sandara Park, alleging she was used as a scapegoat in a past drug controversy.
On 3 March, the singer uploaded a handwritten letter on Instagram addressed “To the citizens of the nation,” revisiting her 2010 Adderall case and asserting that the narrative surrounding it was fabricated to shield another party.
“I am writing because I want to share the truth with you,” she began. “I’m about to talk about something sensitive and something frightening.”
Revisiting the Adderall controversy
Park Bom was previously investigated in 2010 after importing 82 pills of Adderall into South Korea without declaring them to customs or obtaining prior approval. At the time, prosecutors confirmed the medication had been prescribed for treatment purposes and suspended the indictment.
In her latest post, she reiterated that Adderall “is not a drug” in the context of abuse, explaining, “I am an ADD patient, something called Attention Deficit Disorder.”
However, she went further by claiming, “Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned the medication into something labeled as a drug scandal involving me.”
She also stated that there had been no specific medication system or law in the country regarding Adderall at the time, adding that regulations were created after her case.

Mentions of former agency figures
The letter additionally referenced her former agency, YG Entertainment, naming Yang Hyun Suk, Teddy Park, and Lee Chaerin (CL). She wrote, “Please do not report to the authorities that Park Bom used more than the prescribed amount of a drug that you yourselves have not used even once in 30 years.”
She concluded the message by saying she felt as though “my soul is crying.”
Agency response and health concerns
Shortly after the post surfaced, a close associate cited her unstable health condition as a factor behind the upload, asking for public understanding.
Park Bom has been on hiatus from 2NE1 activities since August last year due to health issues. At the time, her agency D Nation Entertainment stated that she was in a “very unstable emotional state” and required treatment and rest.
The allegations made in her recent letter have been confirmed to be baseless.
As of writing, Sandara Park and the other individuals mentioned have not released separate statements addressing the claims.
