On 17 April, Park Bom has shared a lengthy handwritten letter addressed to the public, reflecting on her journey as a singer, her bond with her 2NE1 members, and the “drug accusations” previously made against her.

In the letter, Park Bom looks back on her path to becoming a singer, writing that she returned to Korea after studying in the United States and spent years auditioning before taking on vocals in “Captain Planet”. She describes singing as where her talents lie, and says she pursued that path with tenacity.

She also writes about each of her fellow members in turn. Park Bom describes CL, Lee Chaerin, as the group’s leader and a “god of performance”, praising her ability to make things work on the spot and saying she is in charge of performance in “Captain Planet”.

Park Bom then turns to Gong Minzy, introducing her as the group’s maknae and praising her talent and spontaneity. She describes Minzy as a “god of dance”, says she feels proud watching over her, and adds that Minzy is in charge of dance in “Captain Planet”.

Lastly, she writes about Sandara, calling her the “princess of the Philippines” and praising her smile, voice, and role within the group. Park Bom says Sandara is in charge of maintaining harmonious order and “refreshing vocals”, and also describes her as the “brains” of “Captain Planet”.

Toward the end of the letter, Park Bom says this is a story she has wanted to tell for 20 years and calls it a “100% true” story. She thanks those who “raised” and “nurtured” the four members in Korea, saying she wrote the letter because she wanted to convey her feelings no matter what.

Park Bom also addresses the “drug accusations” she made before, writing that she hopes people will “just ignore that it happened”. She adds that it was a miracle for the four members to come together as a team despite their age differences, and says she did not want that to have been for nothing.

The letter comes after Park Bom previously accused Sandara of purchasing and administering illegal drugs, before deleting the accusation shortly afterward. The report also states that Park Bom’s agency said the incident happened because “her emotional health is unstable”, and that Park Bom is currently on hiatus from activities due to health reasons.

Fans have expressed their worries surrounding the situation, with many sharing that it feels like a quiet farewell rather than a simple update. As concern continues to grow, the letter stands as a deeply personal reflection of Park Bom’s journey, one that blends gratitude, vulnerability, and unresolved emotion. While her future activities remain uncertain, the outpouring of support from fans highlights the lasting impact she has made, with many hoping for her healing and eventual return on her own terms.
