Chaos struck at the final performance of SUPER JUNIOR's highly anticipated 20th anniversary tour as a barricade toppled over, causing three fans to lose their footing and fall over, sending them to the hospital.

While SUPER JUNIOR member Kim Ryeowook was sharing a sweet moment with fans and interacting with them, the barricade that was holding them back gave way as they fell from the elevated platform that they were stood on. The fall caused them to sustain injuries and the three fans were immediately rushed to the hospital to receive treatment. Ryeowook reacted quickly as he rushed to get help and alerted staff to tend to the fans.

Following the event, SM Entertainment apologised for the whole ordeal, announcing that they would take full responsibility for the unfortunate event. SUPER JUNIOR's official accounts also released messages and updates following the incident, sharing that the fans did not sustain any serious injuries, getting away with sprains and contusions. Doctors have since advised the three individuals to rest for two weeks as they recover.

While the incident cast a shadow over what was meant to be a celebratory final stop for SUPER JUNIOR’s 20th anniversary tour, it was a relief to learn that no serious injuries were reported. As the affected fans recover and the group’s team takes responsibility for the accident, the moment also serves as a stark reminder of the importance of crowd safety at live events.
