5 Best Zoolander Moments to Remind You That 'Zoolander 2' Is Worth the Wait

ESTIMATED

In true Ben Stiller...uh, fashion, he made a surprise appearance on the Valentino catwalk of Paris Fashion Week with Owen Wilson to officially announce Zoolander 2 — a film almost seven years in the making. While the true Stiller diehards are already eagerly refreshing cinema websites to book advance tickets, some of you may wonder why their appearance is — in the immortal words of Mugatu — so hot right now!

For one, Ben Stiller's been noticeably weak in recent comedies, probably due to unflattering scripts. Owen Wilson's also slowly relegating himself away into supporting roles, along with the occasional Wes Anderson or Woody Allen flick — or God forbid, another Cars sequel.

BANDWAGON TV

Zoolander 2 may very well be the great Ben Stiller and/or Owen Wilson comeback we've been dreaming for years. Before any teaser or even a full-length trailer comes out, here are the 5 best moments from the first Zoolander — from Will Farrell's scene-stealing moments as fashion mogul Jacobim Mugatu, to a playful gas fight gone wrong.

RUNWAY CHALLENGE

To understand the brilliant hilarity of having both Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson in this film, this scene exactly shows why. Also, there's Mr. Ziggy Stardust himself, David Bowie, serving as "referee". Perfect.

A CENTRE FOR ANTS

We don't even want to talk about why this scene's so funny. It's one minute. It won't take long till you're on the floor.

MALE MODEL OF THE YEAR

Watch Stiller's egotistical Derek Zoolander get crushed on-stage after mistaking Hansel's win of 'Male Model of the Year' as his own. Our favorite line from Wilson's Hansel: "Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that."

GASOLINE FIGHT

Orange mocha frappachino! Also, watch until the end.

THE COMPUTER SCENE

To be fair, those old Mac computers were a pain to use. See if you can recognize the Kubrick homage too.

BONUS: ZOOLANDER MEETS STEFON

Bill Hader's undoubtedly one of the most talented comedic actors around right now. To see his flamboyant SNL character Stefon with Zoolander almost feels like generations colliding. Skip to 2:48 if you want to head straight to Stiller's appearance.
