90s' electronic legends Underworld heads to Bangkok

With Trainspotting 2 out in cinemas this week, many fans are fondly remembering the legacy of the original, and its iconic theme 'Born Slippy' performed by legendary UK dance act Underworld.

Well, if you're looking to do more than listen to their old records (or their new album Barbara Barbara, We Face A Shining Future), the outfit's original members Karl Hyde and Rick Smith will be heading to Bangkok, Thailand on 13th May for a special headlining performance!

Playing as part of a newly formed riverside dance festival called Super Summer Sound, the British electronic icons will be joined by many other acts including Nolen.Volens. and Maika Loubte, and Thai bands DCNXTR, X0809 and Kidnappers.

The festival itself takes place at Asiatique Riverside, located on Charoen Krung Road in Bangkok's Bang Kho Laem District. As far as we know, Super Summer Sound will be a two-day event, with the second date happening on 31st May.

Details for the second date are not yet available, but rest assured, we'll keep you posted as soon as further details emerge.

In the meantime, choose life, choose a job, choose to listen to 'Born Slippy'.
