A Festival Weekend: Good Vibes Festival & We The Fest

ESTIMATED

When we said we have a lot going on for us in the month of August, we forgot to tell you about some exciting events happening around the region. We're talking big acts from around the world, a full day of outdoorsy fun and food stands, shopping from quirky booths - yes, we're talking festivals. And they're just around the corner. So if you're thinking of a short weekend getaway in the month of August, you know where to get your live music fix!

GOOD VIBES FESTIVAL (MY)

Tickets are selling out quick for this festival and it's not hard to see why. They had a spectacular year last year with headliners Smashing Pumpkins, Modest Mouse, and Japandroids and will be back again this month with the Ellie Goulding (if you missed out on her show here recently), Banks, Empire Of The Sun, !!! (Chk Chk Chk) playing alongside solid local and other regional acts like our very own Electrico, Kyoto Protocol, Froya, and much more. Best thing is, it's only across the Causeway where you can just hop on a bus and be heading to the enticing sounds of songstresses and tempting festival food stands.

BANDWAGON TV

As a bonus and to give music fans a reason to celebrate, Gap is running a Facebook contest and giving away an expense paid trip to 5 lucky winners. Plus, one lucky winner will also get an unforgettable experience with Ellie Goulding. Click HERE to enter!
